However, if you have a replacement receiver, you can use the Connection Utility software to perform the pairing. If your receiver is non-Unifying, it cannot be unpaired. Please try the below steps to resolve the issue: ![]() I'm pissed because I paid this keyboard 120€ and this is not the experience you should have with such an expensive product. so I guess it somehow happens less often while the keyboard is charging but it still does happen. I have a MX keys and a MX vertical and I don't have any issues with the last one, using the same receiver.Īlso, while the keyboard is connected (with a wire, to charge it), there is no disconnects issues which is weird because I know that the keyboard is only working remote, so this should not make a difference but it is in my case.Įdit: Well it just happened while the keyboard was charging. A few weeks ago, a new update was rolled out and since then it started again to disconnect so often. I already contacted Logitech Support one month ago, they make me update the keyboard, and everything went back to normal (I still got disconnects but it was less often). It will happen, most of the time, when I start writing after a little break, then the backlit starts to blink and I have to either wait something between 10 and 30s or restart the keyboard / disconnect the logitech unifying receiver to make it work again. However I feel quite frustrated because the keyboard is disconnecting randomly very often. Hope this helps, and that a solution is found soon!Īfter plugging back in both USBs and reinstalling icue, all seems to be good :) Have done a couple of restarts without any issues so far.I bought a MX keys last August and I truly love this product, it's exactly what I was looking for. Recalled information regarding recent software changes Hope this helps, and that a solution is found soon! Edited Augby Kapper_s (Edit: I may have updated icue a week or two ago) On the note of Nvidia GPU upgrades, I’m running a rx 5700 xt, and have made no manual changes (I say manual since I think there was a windows update the other day) to my hardware or software for at least over a month now. I couldn’t pinpoint for sure which solution worked but it seems likely uninstalling icue and unplugging the Corsair link USB then restarting was the trick. I’ve tried updating icue (which did update to the latest version), reinstalling the drivers, chkdsk, sfc scan, registry repair, uninstalling icue and finally plugging in only the USB head with the keyboard logo on it (not the one that seems to be for Corsair link) and I’ve now managed to get the keyboard to stay connected without the RGB effects. At first my keyboard disconnected and reconnected a couple of times while gaming, however today when I turned on my pc the keyboard worked for a moment and then disconnected entirely, not even powering the backlights.ĭevice manager reported it as an ‘unknown USB device (Device descriptor request failed)’. ![]() I started having the same issue within the last 2 days with my K70 RGB keyboard. ![]()
